WE ARE HERE FOR YOU

Here at TALKWORKS, we recognise that every person has a different experience in what they are going through and how they are feeling. Whether you’re anxious and overwhelmed, suffering from low mood, having sleepless nights or struggling with stress, we are here to help you. We are a confidential, NHS talking therapy service, and all of our services are available free of charge to anyone over the age of 18, living in Devon.

HOW WE CAN HELP

There are times when it can all feel too much, and we can feel overwhelmed. At TALKWORKS we’re here to help you feel better about life, and to help you feel like yourself again.
We currently have:
  • Short wait times

  • Flexible appointments

  • Virtual talking therapy sessions (a limited number of face to face appointments are also available)

  • Online wellbeing workshops focused on sleep, managing stress and looking after your mental health

Please remember that you are not alone in how you are feeling. One in four people – of any age, gender, sexuality or race - experience anxiety or low mood at some point during their life. This means that 25% of us here in Devon will share a similar experience to you. So no matter how you are feeling, please don’t suffer in silence.

We offer a wide range of treatment and therapy options here at TALKWORKS. The treatment options are usually based on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) which looks at the way our thoughts, feelings and behaviours interact. Our clinicians will listen to what you’re going through, and work with you to help you feel better and more ‘yourself’ again.
