ANXIOUS
Anxiety can feel crippling and prevent you from doing the things you want to do, and normally enjoy. We all experience anxiety in different ways: some people feel anxious and experience feelings of panic; others have overwhelming obsessive thoughts, some are avoidant of specific things. Sometimes anxiety is a result of experiencing something traumatic. We are here to help you find the tools to manage your anxiety to get your life back to a positive place.

TIRED
Sometimes when we are feeling down, we can experience a whole new level of tiredness where we feel drained and exhausted, even if we are managing to sleep at night. Some people find that stress and worry keep them up at night tossing and turning, which leads to them feeling drained the next day. At TALKWORKS, we can address the difficulty you are experiencing with sleep, to help you to face day-to-day life with energy.

FOR FRIENDS AND FAMILY

Are you worried about a friend or a member of your family? Maybe a life event or a long term health diagnosis has had an impact on them and their mood may have changed over time, or you may have noticed a change in their behaviour or the way they feel. Maybe they seem anxious all of the time.

Life events that are considered as happy - such as pregnancy and becoming a parent - affect people in different ways, and can leave some people feeling lost and frightened.

As Devon's NHS Talking Therapies Service, we are on hand to help. We know the sooner people come to see us the quicker they will recover and begin to feel better again.
