Ahead of World Mental Health Day (on Saturday 10th October), TALKWORKS has teamed up with the Devon FA to help raise awareness of mental health and encourage more people to start conversations about how they are feeling.A screenshot of the TALKWORKS and Devon FA campaign video

As part of the partnership, a series of videos featuring members of the Devon FA football family and TALKWORKS clinicians will be shared across social media. The videos will explore topics around mental health and wellbeing from both a football and clinical perspective. This will include sharing stories, experiences and practical advice around looking after your mental and physical wellbeing.

Football brings people together, making it a great way to start conversations that can sometimes feel difficult. Through launching the campaign, TALKWORKS and Devon FA hope to remind people that staying well off the pitch is just as important as playing well on it. The videos will also highlight where people can turn if they are struggling with changes in their mood, stress, anxiety or problems with sleep. They include information about the treatment and support available through TALKWORKS.
